Heart to Heart Softball Game
From 1:00PM to 5:30PM
Ferris State University (FSU) Sports Communication Program will be honoring Area 5 Special Olympics of Michigan at the Ferris State softball home battle against Davenport University.
The softball game will take place at the Ferris State Softball Field located off Ferris Dr. on the west side of campus. The softball field sits right across from the Department of Public Safety.
Saturday, April 13, 2024. Game one begins at 1 p.m. and game two begins at 3 p.m.
In attendance at the game will be athletes from Area 5 Special Olympics of Michigan, and students from the FSU Sports Communication Program.
Join us for a “Miracle Minute” during each game, giving guests an opportunity to donate to Area 5 Special Olympics of Michigan. The members of Area 5 will also have the opportunity to walk out with the starting lineup of the Ferris State softball team.
Under the Big Top: On Ice Performance
From 2:00PM to 3:30PM
Presented by the Big Rapids Figure Skating Club.
General admission is $10, with ages 5 and under free.
Taking place Friday, April 12 @ 7PM and Saturday, April 13 @ 2PM.
Big Rapids Baseball Dinner at the Elks
From 6:00PM to 9:30PM
Everyone is invited to join us as we kick off our 2024 HS Baseball season for a fun evening with food, beverages and comradery.
Come out and meet our Varsity Baseball Players and Coaches.
OPEN TO ALL, NEED NOT BE AN ELKS MEMBER TO ATTEND.
Dinner will start at 6pm ($12). Drink tickets will be available for purchase. 50/50 drawings and a few raffles will be offered. All proceeds from the dinner and drawings/raffles will benefit our HS Baseball Program.
