Purses with a Purpose

From 8:00AM to 4:00PM

MSP - Hart Post will be collecting donations through the month of April, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, for new bags with tags, filled with comfort items to benefit Communities Overcoming Violent Encounters (C.O.V.E) and the West Shore Community College. They will be distributed to suvivors of sexual/domestic assult and other people in need.

Annual Used Book Sale

From 9:00AM to 2:00PM

For scholarships to assist women students at Ferris State University to help them continue and complete their higher education. We request donations of used books from the community to sell at the event. Donations can be placed in boxes at the Big Rapids Community Library, Artworks, or Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Face masks will be required.

AAUW-BIG RAPIDS BOOK SALE

From 9:00AM to 5:00PM

It's back! AAUW-Big Rapids will hold its annual used book sale on Friday, April 8, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 304 Elm Street, Big Rapids. Masks will be required. We are currently collecting donations of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs (no encyclopedias or textbooks, please). Donation bins are located at Big Rapids Community Library, Artworks, and Immanuel Lutheran Church. Proceeds fund scholarships for Ferris students. For more information, call 231-598-0872.
