New Hope Church is seeking a Music Director. Responsibilities included Sunday morning worship, playing hymns for congregational singing as well as accompanying the choir and praise team. Participation in praise group rehearsal once a week is also expected and availability to play at weddings and funerals is a plus. Walkathon, August 31, 10 AM-1 PM. Begins and ends at Chippewa Lake Community Church.
Teams or designee will walk 1 mile. Mini health fair with testing for diabetes, blood pressure, vision screening. AED demonstration. Hot dog basket lunch afterwards and awards. All donations go to the mobile truck food program fro 2020, co-sponsored by Chippewa Lake-Mecosta Lions Club.

The Browns will be in concert at New Hope United Methodist Church in Mecosta on Saturday, August 31 at 6 pm. Doors open at 5 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the concert.
