Wolf Run Harvest Festival

14th Annual Wofl Run Harvest Festival and Psychic Fair.

One of the largest events for the Wolf Run Wildlife and Spiritual Sanctuary. Filled with fun for the entire family. Vendors from all over the state with wares and services from crystals and books to Native American and stained glass art, medical massage and energy work.

Come and enjoy music and dancing or take a class or join in the community potluck meal.

Donations are accepted for Wolf Run and please bring a non-perishable food item.

First Aid, CPR AED Training

Saturday, August 10.

Training given by Big Rapids Public Safety Department, lunch provided by Big Rapids Eagles. Space is limited and you must sign up with $60 to reserve your spot on a first-come first-serve basis. Limit to 63 participants.

Registration starts at 7:30 AM, class starts 8 AM. At the Eagles #2535 Banquet Hall.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring cushion/knee pads for your knees. Class will take 8-9 hours, to allow for testing with certification. Must pay when signup, see the Bartender.

Muskegon River Voyage

Join the BRARS for the Muskegon River Voyage, August 9-12.

Follow the Voyage on Facebook for up-to-date information.

Individuals joining participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own boats, transportation, food, and safety gear. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Day 1, August 9: Launch at 8 AM. Crawford Park to Blodgett Landing Village Park, est. 5-6 hours.

Day 2, August 10: Launch at 8 AM. Blodgett Landing Village Park to River Bend Bluffs, est. 7-8 hours.

Day 3, August 11: Launch at 9 AM. Croton Dam Tailwater Park Boat Launch to Anderson Flats DNR Landing, est. 4-6 hours.

Day 4, August 12: Launch at 9 AM. Anderson Flats DNR Landing to Maple Island DNR Landing, est. 5-6 hours.
