The Lilac Festival is a chance for families to come out and do something fun, as a hometown, family-friendly event. The fun begins on Friday June 2nd with a talent show, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Saturday the festival gets into full swing with the parade at 11 a.m. Other events on Saturday include a car show, free-throw shoot out, as well as the vendor and craft show. The festival wraps up on Sunday with a community potluck in the park.
