Ove has a problem: Everybody, everything. His neighbor can't back up a trailer properly, his other neighbor doesn't drive the right kind of car, there's a car parked where it shouldn't be. Then there's the neighborhood cat. On top of that, he's really bad at suicide. Ove is a curmudgeon's curmudgeon. An isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife's grave. Ove has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbors.
