Big Rapids High School Presents "The Secret Garden

7:30PM

The Big Rapids High School Theatrical Department will perform the Pulitzer Prize inning Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon musical The Secret Garden this November.

The Secret Garden, based on the beloved classic novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is a story about young Mary Lennox who is sent to live with her uncle who lives in a secluded manor. Inside the haunted mansion on the hill, Mary finds a reclusive, long-suffering collection of souls. When Mary discovers her Aunt Lily's hidden garden, stubborn Mary is determined to revive the beauty that once was. Surrounded by spirits that both warn and welcome her, Mary begins to peel away the layers of sadness that have covered the house and garden for so long proving the power that "one small girl" can have when she "wants to grow".

The Secret Garden will be performed on November 9th and 10th at 7:30, and November 11th at 2:30 in the Big Rapids High School Auditorium, Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased from the cast and crew members, online at :
