Cedar Ascent Nature School (CANS) is now accepting Fall Enrollment, a new nature preschool for ages 3-6-year-olds. CANS will be based at Camp Brethren Heights located on Jehnsen Lake between Rodney and Chippewa Lake. The fall program will meet on select Wednesdays 8:30 am-Noon for the dates October 18 & 25, November 1, & 8, and December 6 & 13, 2017. Appropriate clothing is required for outdoor play.
Connecting with nature is more essential than ever for today's digital generation. Cedar Ascent Nature School (CANS) is a faith and nature-based pre-school program providing an ideal environment for those pivotal "first nature experiences". These firsthand nature experiences are crucial for the social, emotional, and academic development of children. Children are invited to come discover, play, and grow in nature!
Children may attend all or any combination of these fall class dates. Reservations are required prior to the date. To reserve your child's spot or for more information, please contact Randall Westfall, Director of Camp Brethren Heights and Cedar Ascent Nature School at 231-867-3618 or brethrenheights@gmail.com. Information is also available on www.campbrethrenheightsmi.org/nature-school.
