Newaygo County Agricultural Fair
The 2017 Newaygo County Agricultural Fair Program is occurring Saturday, August 5th until Friday, August 11th!
Come check out the some of the animals as well as the Granstand Main Events; one each night.
Inanimate Building:
Open every day 10 am-9 pm.
Open every day from 3 pm-6 pm
Daily Tug of War at 5 pm.
Free General Admission to the Fairgrounds. $5.00 Parking

There are endless opportunities at Barryton Homecoming Days!
Make sure you stop by for dancing Friday & Saturday night in the Hospitality Tent starting at 9:00 pm- 1:00 am. There will be a Euchre Tournament in the Hospitality Tent on Sunday starting at 2:00 pm.
Check out the Flea Market/crafts August 4th, 5th, and 6th. There are softball tournaments going on throughout the week as well as a parade on Wednesday!
Rob's Towing has donated a Mountain Bike valued at $150.00. The drawing for the winner will be on Agust 5th. Tickets will be available near the Dunk Tank Area.

All proceeds go toward helping our veterans. Last year we provided blankets, toiletries, Christmas gifts, and other much-needed items. We also are planning to purchase fishing gear. All items are delivered directly to the GR Veterans Home.

Memorial Sporting Clays Tournament

The Mecosta County Rod & Gun Club will be holding a Sporting ?Clays Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 5th in honor of deceased members. Sign up starts at 12:30 pm. with rounds starting at 1:00. You must shoot two rounds to compete. The total of both rounds will determine your high score. A plaque will be given to the person with the highest score. Please join us for a fun after noon. Steak Dinner
From 5:00PM to 7:00PM
The Mecosta County Rod & Gun Club will be holding a steak dinner on Saturday, Aug. 5th. Serving starts at 5:00 pm and will run until the steaks are gone or 7:00 pm. The cost is $13.00. The menu includes a 6 oz. Top Sirloin, baked potato, coleslaw, baked beans, roll, and beverage. The Mecosta County Rod & Gun Club is located 4 miles West of Mecosta on M-20.
