July is blood month and it means donating blood is a priority to saving lives. Every two seconds, someone in the US needs blood. By donating one pint of blood, three lives can be saved. Registering is easy and it's simple, the actual donation of blood only takes 10-12 minutes. Contact the Red Cross and donate today. The more you donate the more you save lives!

Are you prepared for an emergency? Do you have everything that EMS/First Responders would need to provide the appropriate care?
Metron of Big Rapids will be assisting individuals with filling out their FILE OF LIFE information. Don't have a FILE OF LIFE magnet for your refrigerator? Not a problem, we will provide you one free of charge.
Please bring the following information with you!
- Current list of medications
- Primary Care Physician's Info
- Emergency Contact/Family Information
- List of Allergies
- Other information that EMS would need to know
