Hunter Safety Class
From 8:00AM to 2:30PM
If you were born after 1960 you are required to obtain a hunter safety certificate in order to purchase a Michigan hunting license. Open to all ages. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Free of charge. This is a 3-day event July 18, 20, & 22. Attendees need to complete all three days in order to receive their certificate. The Salvation Army and it's partners are teaming up to provide free backpacks and school supplies to students in Mecosta and Osceola Counties.
Stop at Walmart in Big Rapids on the following dates and donate new school supplies! Below is a list of items that need to be donated:

- Loose Leaf Paper, Kleenex
- Crayons, Markers, Glue Sticks
- Notebooks, Rulers, Erasers
