July is Blood Drive Month

July is blood month and it means donating blood is a priority to saving lives. Every two seconds, someone in the US needs blood. By donating one pint of blood, three lives can be saved. Registering is easy and it's simple, the actual donation of blood only takes 10-12 minutes. Contact the Red Cross and donate today. The more you donate the more you save lives!
100 Yard .22 Caliber Rimfire Egg Shoot

The Mecosta County and Gun Club will be sponsoring a .22 caliber rimfire egg shoot on Sunday, July 16th with the range open at 10 AM for practice and 11 AM registration and the shoot begins at noon. Only .22 short, long, or long rifle chambering's allowed. Any forearm rest may be used and you cannot use a rest on the buttstock. Any power scope or sight may be used. The rules will be posted at the club. Cost is $5.00 for 10 eggs. Prizes will be awarded for the highest scores. This is really a fun event. Dust off your squirrel rifle and join us. Food will be available at the range. The public is invited to participate.
