Come Learn about nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices for you and your baby!
Topics include: easy menu planning, the importance of reading food labels, keeping active throughout pregnancy, special nutrients needs during pregnancy and how a baby grows from month to month.

The Longest Day-Alzheimer's Association
From 12:00PM to 6:30PM
Jordan Balkema ElderLaw Center, Metron of Big Rapids, and Altercare of Big Rapids will team up and put their passion to work on June 21, 2017 by hosting an event in Hemlock Park as part of The Longest Day benefiting the Alzheimer's Association.
The Longest Day is a day the entire community can come together and show love and support for those affected by Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias. Every Day feels like the longest day for those struggling with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers, so everyone is encouraged to join the fight for just one day.
Schedule of events:
12:00-1:00 pm- Tai Chi with Mary Loesch
1:00-1:30 pm- Healthy Brain Food Demonstration by Metron
1:30-2:30 pm- Bicycle to and from Paris for a sweet treat
2:30-3:00 pm- Demonstration by Altercare
3:00-4:00 pm- Walk the Riverwalk
4:00-5:30 pm- Entertainment
5:00-6:30 pm- Cookout and special speaker
A silent auction will also go on throughout the day with winners being announced during dinner.
