Upon arrival of the 200 plus Back to the Bricks® cars to downtown Big Rapids, they will be joining vehicles from our local car clubs, River Valley Car Club and Canadian Lakes Cruisers, for a car show unlike any other.
Kick off for the car show will begin at approximately 5:00pm with a Welcome Ceremony and then the fun will have just begun. From 5:00pm -9:00 enjoy viewing 250 vehicles from Back to the Bricks®, or local car clubs and from our Premier Sponsor McDonald Dodge.

Enjoy a guided tour of local, historical buildings such as the Old Jail (Rumor has it that some of the inmates never completely left….) and Berglund House Museum. Local artists will also be downtown capturing the day’s activities live on canvas and drawing pads. Be sure to participate in the Downtown Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win one of eight $25.00 gift certificates. While experiencing all of these great activities be sure to enjoy the unique and one of a kind shops. You’ll want to take something home to remember this special day with.
With all of this excitement occurring downtown, we are sure you find yourself either hungry, thirsty or both. Yes, we have that taken care of for you as well with local restaurants, street side cafes, breweries, and vendors. Crankers Coney Island will be featuring specials, live entertainment, and a Craft Beer Tent.
At 7:00pm get ready to get your noise on! The Rev Car/Loudest Car Contest will take place near the corner of Pine St. and Michigan Avenue. Signs will be posted at the event area.
At 8:30pm Trophies for Best of Show, Mayors Choice, Convention & Visitors Bureau Choice and 27 other categories will be announced. Be sure to cheer on your favorite make and model.
Although the car show itself will come to a conclusion at 9:00pm there is still a lot of fun to be had at our local restaurants, bars, and breweries.
