Race and Event Schedule
Half Marathon and 10K Run
Registration: 6 a.m. Race 8 a.m. Awards 10:40 a.m. at the Bandshell
The half marathon starts at the Reed City Depot. The 10K run starts at Paris Park. Both races end at the Bandshell behind Big Rapids Middle School. The Course closes at 11 a.m. Buses depart Big Rapids at 6:45 a.m. and 7 a.m.
5K Run & Wellness Walk
Registration: 8 a.m. Run/Walk: 9 a.m. Awards: 10:40 a.m. at the Bandshell.
Course: Starts at Hemlock Park, ends at the Bandshell
Kids Dash- children up to age 10
Registration: 10 a.m. Dash: 10:30 a.m.
Course: Outlined on the Big Rapids Middle School soccer field.
Participants receive a special prize.
Free Skin Cancer Screenings
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Susan P. Wheatlake Regional Cancer Center staff will provide free screenings at the Bandshell.
Early Packet Pick-up
Friday, May 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Register by May 12, 2017, and your race or walk packet will be available to pick up in the Holiday Inn Conferance Center lobby, 1005 Perry St., Big Rapids.

If you were born after 1960 you are required to obtain a hunter safety certificate in order to purchase a Michigan hunting license. Open to all ages. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Free of charge. This is a 3-day event May 16, 18, & 20. Attendees need to complete all three days in order to receive their certificate.
