Riverdays Rumble Disc Golf Tournament
Be a part of the disc golf tornament at the 2012 Riverdays Festival in Big Rapids. All proceeds benefit the Salvation Army of Big Rapids. Registration - 10:00am Disc Golf 101 - 11:00am First Tee Time - 12:00pm. Team Costs by division: Recreation - $40 per team. Intermediate - $50 per team. Pro - $60 per team. Cash prizes awarded to top 3 teams in each division. Registration forms and sponsorship forms and payment must be dropped off or mailed to 'The Salvation Army - 325 Linden Ave, Big Rapids, MI 49307. From 7:30AM to 9:00PM
Big Bad Wolf Adventure Race behind the Big Rapids Middle School at 8:30am with 7:30 registration. Over the River and Through the Woods 5-K Run behind the Big Rapids Middle School 9AM, registration at 8AM. Friends of the Library used book sale at the big rapids Library 9AM-2:30PM. Old Jail Yard Sale 9AM-3PM. Brutus Dog Park Grand Opening at the River Street Park 10AM. STAGE-M Performance Music Review, 30 years of STAGE-M 4PM and 6PM. Salvation Army Disc Golf Challenge at Northend Riverside Park. Registration 10AM. Tutorial 11AM. Tournament at 10AM-9PM. Dinner served at the pavilion, after the tournament.
AMVETS Annual Fall Poker Run
From 10:00AM to 8:00PM
Come join the AMVETS as they host their annual fall poker run! Sign up begins at 10:00am, with dinner being served at 6:00pm. Poker run w/Dinner - $12 per person. Dinner only - $6 per person. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, silent auction, door prizes, and 50/50 raffles. Have some fun, while supporting our local AMVETS! For more information call: 231-796-6998.
